If it's trash, trash it. If it's good, donate it.
There are so many families that can use your help. Donate one small kitchen utensil, or an entire house of furniture. The key is to be sure the item is usable.
How often have you looked in your cupboards, closets, or around the house and thought, "I'm not using that ~ I should donate it" ?
My advice?
DO IT ~
DONATE IT ~
MOVE IT OUT ~ not to the garage, move it to your vehicle right away. Make a commitment to yourself, that tomorrow morning; you will get up 15 minutes earlier. This 15 minutes of added time will allow you to adjust your schedule and deliver your donation.
Donating does not require a bag full, a car load, or a truck full. Letting go of one item at a time is less stressful, and you are more likely to actually do it. You learned to walk one step at a time....try giving, one step at a time.
